“Cronenberg clearly trusts him, so why shouldn’t we?”
Exactly, fanboys. Sit down. Rope of Silicon came to the conclusion of possibly trusting Cronenberg only after saying their interest waned. Reading whiny, scathing articles about Robert Pattinson being cast in Cosmopolis has me thinking:
This feels like clubhouses from when you’re a kid with secret codes for entry. Boys against girls when it comes to Cosmopolis? IndieWIRE we know is quite vocal in their disapproval. We don’t post a lot of the negative remarks regarding the film and casting Pattinson but that doesn’t mean they aren’t out there. In fact, have at it in the comments section if you’d like to share links.
Since we’re a talkative bunch; what do you think of my vision? Are we in a bunch of clubhouses, battling it out with the fanboys? It’s a generalization because lady critics have certainly offered up their snark. Still…I kinda like the idea of ruffling the fanboy feathers
