This week I was inspired by our lovely leading lady and one of my favorite scenes in the book. I haven’t papered it before. Do you know what it is?
“The instant he knew he loved her, she slipped down his body and out of his arms. Then she wedged herself through the narrow opening in the boards and he watched her cross the street.”
In my naive, innocent mind, Elise and Eric run away to Europe together after he stumbles into the apartment late that night. He’s very distraught over the worst day of his life. Then they rob a bank and flee to Paris where Elise writes poetry in the park.
The end.
On a realistic note, we’ve had the great pleasure of speaking to Sarah Gadon over Twitter this week. Are you following her already? We look forward to chatting with Sarah more as 12.12.12 gets closer and closer!
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend and gets to climb on someone handsome [or run away to Europe].
